I started this blog in 2007 to share updates on my work in fair trade textiles and crafts. In 2006 I graduated with a BA(hons) degree in fashion design in London and have since been focusing on more socially and environmentally responsible alternatives to conventional textiles and apparel manufacture. From 2007 to 2010 I worked in Senegal, mainly on a fair trade organic cotton project with a local NGO. You will find information and photos of this on older blog posts (see blog archive below). From 2010 to 2011 I spent a year in India through VSO, managing communications and a fair trade recycled textiles project for a Delhi-based youth NGO. From Autumn 2011 I'm studying for the MSc Business and Community at the University of Bath.
